May Every Thought Be A Prayer…
Charlie and I have just returned from our third trip to Mallorca in 3 months…so clearly something is brewing there! We sense we may be getting closer to being able to announce more regarding our first Sanará Mediterranean basecamp and feeling blessed that as we explore this path, we are building friendships and connecting deeper with a community of common hearts seeking to explore a greater purpose.
This week we were also overjoyed to discover that our dear friends, Bogdan and Mati, of Awaré (@aware.music) were performing on the island. Bogdan and Mati were instrumental (literally!) in the tapestry of our Sanará Sounds performances and events, with each of us growing and evolving in our own ways on the stunning backdrop of Tulum’s ‘living canvas of authentic expression’ (as Charlie would say!) so to be able to reconnect at such a pertinent moment for Sanará’s next chapter was notably moving for us, and we hope that we may be able to host Awaré again at some point, when all is aligned.
Despite our own peace and sense of flow as we trust the Divine unfolding and guidance of our path, I found myself breaking down several times this week as I learned of more horrific suffering in parts of our world…some shockingly close to home, and others in places and contexts that seem distant, though no less tragic and painful to witness. As my heart broke, sitting in solidarity and compassion for those who suffer, I questioned…how can we go forth in our day to day lives, so often attempting to create balance and stability, joy and prosperity, in the microcosms of our own world, while so much suffering and tragedy continues, and even intensifies globally?
Without judgement of this process, this is our human nature - survival, and protection of ourselves and our family, our ‘pack’ is what comes instinctively to us…It is a necessary facet of our existence. And yet, beyond the literal ‘doings’ and needs of our days, and beyond even the actions of purpose that we seek to bring forward, and the choices that we can take to tread ever more softly, with more compassion, more kindness, and more love, perhaps the most profound impact may be found in the quiet resonance of the ‘way’ in which we exist, the way we breathe, contemplate, think, speak, interact, and walk forth…
These are some words that I personally mantra internally, both in moments of silence and stillness, and also carried with me in my heart as I pass through my days…
‘May every thought be a prayer,
May every word be a blessing,
May every action be a ritual of reverence.’
We may never know the impact of our own ways of Being, yet both individually, and collectively, the resonance of our gentle frequencies may ripple out into our world, our universe, to bring forth a delicate breath of hope to places where it is most needed.
Blessings,
